The maximum temperatures in Telangana crossed 44°C in April third week and nearing 45°C. The sweltering heat made the State government take measures to prevent heat strokes. The Health department issued an advisory on the precautions to take during the heatwave. The Revenue (Disaster Management) issued a memo on the series of steps to be taken by Collectors and other departments to protect people from the hot weather.
A marginal drop in the temperatures may be observed in the fourth week as India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad Centre has forecast thunderstorms in various parts of the State till Saturday. Here is a look at the day-wise maximum temperatures recorded in Telangana districts.
