The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has named Nellore Rural constituency co-convener Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy as one of the party’s 14 State spokespersons, a move that has not surprised anyone in the politically sensitive district.
The elevation comes amid widespread expectations of Mr. Giridhar Reddy taking over the reins of the constituency from his elder brother and sitting MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy ahead of the next general elections.
