Advocate found dead on railway track

A 32-year-old advocate who was missing from home for the last two days was found dead on the railway track in Jnanabharati on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Hemanth Kumar V., a resident of J.P. Nagar 6th phase practising law in the city. According to the police, his wife Neha, also an advocate, filed a missing complaint with the Puttenahalli police on Tuesday.

The pilot of Hampi Express had informed the police about a man dead on the track. It is yet to be ascertained whether it is a case of suicide or accidental death, a police officer with city railway station said. The police are awaiting post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death while waiting for the family members to record their statement .
