Tamil Nadu people have endorsed coalition government: VCK’s Thirumavalavan

Perhaps hinting at the future, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) founder and Chidambaram MP, Thol. Thirumavalavan on Tuesday (May 5, 2026), said that he viewed the fractured 2026 Assembly elections verdict, as people’s message that they prefer a coalition government in Tamil Nadu even as he underlined the people’s decision to reject the BJP and AIADMK.

In a statement, Mr. Thirumavalavan said the fact that the people of Tamil Nadu have given a “political message” by not giving any party a simple majority.
