SUCC slams mode of protest against Sanskrit varsity V-C

The Save University Campaign Committee (SUCC) has deplored the mode of agitation organised by Students’ Federation of India (SFI) against the Vice-Chancellor (V-C) of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit even as a Syndicate meeting was on.

Instead of protesting in a democratic way, a mock funeral of the V-C was depicted during the agitation by SFI activists. This is mental torture and character assassination of members of the teaching community, the committee said, while also referring to a similar agitation at a college in Palakkad.
