State-level NCC fest begins at DG Vaishnav College

The 44^th edition of CADOFEST, a three-day State-level inter-collegiate and inter-school National Cadet Corps (NCC) Competition organised by the DG Vaishnav College, got underway on Friday. The events at the fest included precision drill and march past, physical fitness challenges, and some practical application challenges such as map reading. The three-day event would end with cultural events showcasing the cadets’ artistic talent.

On Friday, the fest was inaugurated by Brigadier Santhosh Vishwanathan, Brig A, Officers Training Academy, who underscored the importance of NCC training in inculcating confidence, discipline, and responsibility among the cadets. Capt. Dr. S. Santhosh Baboo, Principal, DG Vaishnav College, spoke.
