Special train from Mysuru to Tuticorin for Christmas and New Year

The railway authorities will operate two trips of a special express train between Mysuru and Tuticorin to handle the extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year.

A release said Train No. 06283 Mysuru–Tuticorin Express Special will leave Mysuru at 6.35 p.m. on December 23 and 27 (Tuesday and Saturday) and reach Tuticorin at 11 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 06284 Tuticorin–Mysuru Express Special will leave Tuticorin at 2 p.m. on December 24 and 28 (Wednesday and Sunday) and reach Mysuru at 7.45 a.m. the next day.

En route, the train will stop at Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagram, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantt, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, and Tuti Melur stations.

The special train will run with 18 coaches that include one AC two-tier, two AC three-tier, nine sleeper class, four general second class, and two second class-cum-luggage brake Van/Divyangjan coaches, the release added.
