SHRC orders mandatory safety checks for events at Kaloor stadium

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has ordered to ensure proper safety precautions at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kaloor, whenever an event is organised there.

Commission Chairperson Alexander Thomas directed the Ernakulam District Collector to ensure that those controlling the stadium had taken safety precautions to prevent accidents during public programmes and meetings.
