The seven-day Sankranti Mahotsavams at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam concluded on Sunday (January 18, 2026). The temple priests performed special pujas to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba in the morning, and in the evening, ‘Aswa Vahana seva’ was performed to the processional deities.
Later, “Pushpotsvam” was performed for Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba at the Akkamaha Devi Alankara Mandapam. A total of 20 varieties of colourful flowers—including roses, chrysanthemums, lilies, and others—along with 11 varieties of fruits such as lemon, orange, guava, apple, dates, and pineapple were offered to the deities.
“Ekanta Seva” was performed in the night for Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba marking the conclusion of the festivities.
Meanwhile, lakhs of devotees had a smooth and hassle-free darshan of the deities during the Sankranti Mahotsavams. The temple management, led by Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, made elaborate arrangements to ensure a hassle-free darshan and comfortable accommodation for the devotees.
