Rooftop solar systems to benefit 4,200 families in Puthalapattu, says Energy Minister

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar said that the State government is committed to providing affordable and quality power supply to every household while launching rooftop solar units under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana at Puthalapattu constituency in Chittoor district on Thursday.

The Minister inaugurated 2 kW solar rooftop systems installed free of charge for SC/ST households at Anakanambattu village. He said as many as 4,200 families in the constituency would benefit from this initiative at an estimated cost of ₹54 crore.
