At the same time, he directed the Finance department to release necessary funds for repairs of project gates and other maintenance works without any delay.

The Agriculture department officials were directed to be fully prepared in view of the monsoon and focus on the distribution of seeds and fertilizers. Fertilizers should be supplied through Rythu Vedikas and the agriculture officer concerned should be made responsible for maintaining the stocks and ensuring distribution among the farmers with the help of Revenue department officials. Farmers should be educated about the varieties of seeds for fine rice kept ready for farmers opting for paddy cultivation.

Officials were directed to take steps to ensure that there was no scope for contamination of drinking water. Water works officials had been directed to test water quality from time to time, while the Health department should be ready to provide medical facilities if need be.
