Be it at a tea stall or food joints, the demand for the creation of Arani as a separate district by bifurcating Tiruvannamalai, remains a point of discussion for people who gather there.

Their logic to have a seperate district stems from the fact that they have to travel a long distance to viist the district headquarters in Tiruvannamalai town, for any government related work, that includes submitting petitions.
