Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has started filming for the much‑anticipated biopic, titled ‘Dada: The Sourav Ganguly Story’, based on the life of cricket legend Sourav Ganguly. The actor on Wednesday announced the start of the shoot with a post on social media.
The film is directed by critically acclaimed director Vikramaditya Motwane, known for his projects like Black Warrent, Udaan, and Jubilee. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Farah Khan, Aparshakti Khurana, Huma Qureshi, and others, reacted to the post with congratulatory messages. Karan Johar, Bhumi Pednekar, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kunal Kemmu, and Varun Dhawan also liked the post. Farah Khan commented, “All the best raaajjjjj,” while Neha Dhupia wrote, “All the best!”
