The Forum for Good Governance has written to the Telangana Chief Minister alleging inaction in the investigation into the deaths of 14 people caused by consumption of adulterated toddy in Kukatpally and Balanagar in July 2025.

In a representation, the forum’s president, Mr. M. Padmanabha Reddy, said that 13 cases were registered following the incident, which also left nearly 100 people hospitalised, but charge sheets are yet to be filed in these cases. He alleged that while some arrests were made, the accused later secured bail due to delays in prosecution.
