Industries Minister P. Rajeeve has said that proceedings for the Aluva-Alangad road development will be completed in a time-bound manner. He was attending a hearing held as part of the land acquisition process for the project. Among the 57 landowners who were served notices, 39 attended the hearing.

The Minister said that notices would be issued once again to those who did not attend the hearing. Anwar Sadat, MLA, was present.

The public hearing to announce the rehabilitation package for those who could lose their homes, businesses, and jobs was completed in Aluva. Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition) S. Regina conducted the hearings for 24 families in Aluva West village and 33 families in Kadangallur village. The families will receive benefits under the State government’s rehabilitation policy of 2017.
