In an age where most literature is created on screens, Piyush Kumar Goel is bringing attention back to the beauty of handwritten creativity—though in a way the world has rarely seen before. Combining innovation, patience, and artistic vision, Piyush has emerged as one of India’s most unique literary figures.

Born on 10 February 1967 into a middle-class family, Piyush is the son of Ravikanta Goyal and Dr. Devendra Kumar Goyal. A mechanical engineer by profession with nearly 30 years of experience, Piyush has balanced a technical career with a deep passion for literature and experimentation.
Redefining How Books Are Written
Piyush is not just known for writing books—but for transforming how they are written. So far, Piyush has handwritten 19 books using unconventional tools such as a needle, carbon paper, mehendi cone, fluid pen, fabric cone liner, and even an iron nail. Each project pushes the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship.
One of the most remarkable milestones came when Piyush recreated the iconic literary work Madhushala using only a needle. This intricate and time-intensive achievement earned a world record from the World Record Association, placing Piyush on the global map of creative innovators.

Recognition and Cultural Significance
With 10 books already published, Piyush continues to gain recognition in literary and artistic circles. Three works have been preserved at the prestigious Vrindavan Research Institute, highlighting their lasting cultural value.
Piyush has also secured two entries in the Limca Book of Records, along with several national awards celebrating originality and dedication.
Continuing the Journey of Innovation
Currently, Piyush is working on a groundbreaking 20th book—rewriting Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s epic Rashmirathi in mirror image using coloured pencils. This ambitious project reflects a constant drive to explore new dimensions in writing and visual expression.

Beyond Writing
Beyond literature, Piyush is actively involved in multiple fields. Piyush serves as a regional cricket umpire, contributes to mathematical research with published papers, and has inspired more than 10,000 students through free motivational sessions.
A Story of Passion and Persistence
Piyush Kumar Goel’s journey stands as a powerful example of how creativity, discipline, and determination can redefine conventional paths. Rather than following trends, Piyush continues to create a unique identity—one handwritten page at a time.
