Govt. plans to set up NIEIT centre in Pithapuram

Kakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas on Sunday said the State government has proposed to set up the (NIEIT) centre at Pithapuram in Kakinada District following a field study carried out by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications. This comes after the Ministry of Electronics & Information technology was appealed to set up the NIEIT centre. At present, Andhra Pradesh has only one NIELIT centre in Tirupati.
