The seat allotment process for the fourth round of admission to postgraduate medical courses commenced on February 27. Candidates who have not applied so far have been given an opportunity to submit their applications by March 3, said Islavuddeen Gadyal, executive director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Those who have submitted applications must visit KEA on March 2 and 3 and submit their original documents, he stated.

Candidates who wish to participate in the fourth round must pay a caution deposit of ₹7 lakh between March 2 and 4. Such candidates will be allowed to enter their options from March 4 to 6. The provisional result will be announced on the evening of March 6, and the final result will be published on March 7.

Candidates who are allotted seats must pay the fees and download their admission letters between March 9 and 11. They must report to their respective colleges by March 12, he explained.

Only those who have not been allotted seats so far are eligible to participate in this round. Candidates who were allotted seats in the third round must pay the fees and secure admission in their respective colleges by March 4. If they fail to take admission, their seats will also be considered for the fourth round, he said.

Counselling will be conducted for 817 PG medical seats and 17 DNB seats that remained unallotted in the third round, he added.

The final results of the second round of seat allotment for M.Pharm admissions have been announced. Candidates are instructed to pay the fees and report to their respective colleges by March 3.
