A passenger sustained injuries after stones were hurled at the Yeshwantpur weekly Express, near Thazhae Chovva, in Kannur, Kerala, around 10 p.m. on Monday.
K.R. Arun Muthu, a native of Paral, suffered a hand injury when a stone struck him while he was seated by the window. The display screen of his mobile phone was also damaged in the incident.
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to identify the culprits.
