Former AMC professor remembered at condolence meet

The Department of Physiology at Andhra Medical College (AMC) held a condolence meet to pay tribute to Dr. E. Lakshmi, retired Professor of Physiology at AMC and former principal of SVMC, Tirupati, who passed away on March 30. Recalling her contribution to medical education, speakers described her as a dedicated teacher, disciplined administrator and inspiring mentor. AMC principal Dr. KVSM Sandhya Devi shared memories of Dr. Lakshmi’s encouragement towards academic excellence and discipline. Faculty members and postgraduate students from the Departments of Physiology and Anatomy attended the meeting and paid homage to the departed academician.
