The Andhra Pradesh Aided Colleges Absorbed Non-Teaching Staff Association has welcomed the State government’s issuance of G.O.Ms. No. 34, which lays down Special Service Rules for non-teaching employees absorbed from aided degree colleges into government service.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the association’s State president, N. Uma Maheswari, described the Government Order as a historic and long-awaited measure that fulfils the aspirations of thousands of absorbed employees across the State. She said the new rules bring much-needed clarity to service conditions and provide a structured framework covering job security, administrative safeguards and career progression.

Ms. Uma Maheswari said the order resolves several long-pending issues faced by absorbed employees and marks a significant step towards ensuring fairness, stability and confidence in their service.
