The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has approached the Nampally police on Monday, to report several instances of misuse of its name and official logo.
It was said that a private person hailing from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh allegedly dialled up a few colleges in the city and demanded money, citing TGCHE. The caller’s photo and identification, as reported by officials, had TGCHE and its logo.
