NDRF, SDRF teams deputed to Chennai in view of weather advisory

In view of the weather advisory, the Tamil Nadu government has deputed one team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and two teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to Chennai district. It has also deputed one SDRF team to Tiruvallur district.

Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran visited the State Emergency Operations Centre in Ezhilagam complex and reviewed the precautionary steps being undertaken in various districts.
