Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday unveiled the foundation for the construction of 10 modern paddy storage facilities with structural roofing in eight districts at a total cost of ₹332 crore.
These facilities would come up in Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, and Krishnagiri districts.
The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated three godowns in Namakkal, the Nilgiris, and Tiruvannamalai districts, at a total cost of ₹13.97 crore, at an event in the Secretariat. Minister R. Sakkarapani, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, and senior officials were present.
In another event, the Chief Minister launched the distribution of appointment orders to 376 land surveyors and 100 draughtsmen, who have recently been recruited by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Minister K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran, Mr. Muruganandam and senior officials were present.
