Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday pushed for a “double-engine government” in Tamil Nadu, arguing that alignment between the Centre and the State would accelerate economic growth, expand employment opportunities and strengthen welfare delivery.
Launching an aggressive campaign for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the State, Mr. Naidu projected coordinated governance as the key driver of faster development. Addressing a joint press conference in Chennai with Union Minister Piyush Goyal, he sought to connect with voters by praising the industrious spirit of the Tamil people and their deep-rooted commitment to language and culture.
