Minister for Tribal Welfare Gummadi Sandhya Rani’s private personal assistant Satish, submitted his resignation on Friday, following sexual harassment and other allegations made by a woman employee against him a few days ago .
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, recently approached the police department, explaining about the harassment and submitted WhatsApp chat evidence with Mr .Satish. After the chat details were circulated widely on social media, Mr. Satish submitted his resignation. He has also lodged a complaint with the Saluru police station, asking the police to probe the issue since he had neither taken a bribe nor harassed the woman. He said that the his profile picture was misused on another phone number to mislead everyone and implicate him in controversies.
