Medico dies in road accident

An MBBS student, C. Likith Sai (20), who was in his first year at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, died in a road accident.

A native of Ramapuram village, near Srikalahasti in Chittoor district, Likith, was staying in the college hostel.

He fell from his motorcycle and suffered head injuries on Wednesday. The medico was not using headgear when he met with the accident, the police said. Likith died while undergoing treatment in a hospital on Friday.

The Patamata police registered a case.
