Mandya DC orders round-the-clock vigil on water, power supply

With heat intensifying and water stress looming, the district administration in Mandya has taken steps to implement a summer action plan to secure drinking water supply and support farmers.

Presiding over a review meeting in Mandya on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner Kumar directed officials to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply across both rural and urban areas. He also mandated seven hours of continuous, quality power supply to agricultural pump sets to protect standing summer crops.
