The State government’s Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document has come for praise from a visiting German Parliament delegation for clarity with which it outlined the goals across every sector.

The document reflects the State’s strong commitment to progress, the German lawmakers said, and congratulated the TG government. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu’s office said this in a release on Friday, after he, along with IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, met the delegation.

The German lawmakers sought to highlight the potential for cooperation between Germany and Telangana in areas of cyber security and skilled labour development.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that Germany and India enjoy a long-standing friendship and expressed hope that the relationship would grow stronger in the coming days. Telangana is ready to collaborate with Germany in IT, Defence and Pharma sectors. The State government would extend full support if Germany invests in these areas.

He also said that Telangana is keen to send skilled human resources to Germany and interested in working jointly in Germany’s renowned metallurgy and automobile manufacturing sectors.

A German Language Department could be set up at the Skill University being built in Bharat Future City, enabling Telangana students to learn the language and pursue employment opportunities in Germany, he said.

Mr. Sridhar Babu highlighted the measures of Telangana government on cyber security front. The delegation consisted of Members of Parliament Josef Oster; Daniel Kolbl; Tijen Ataoglu; Bernd Baumann; Dr. Lars Castellucci; Lamya Kaddor; and Clara Bunger; and Christina Ziegenhorn from the Secretariat, Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs, German Bundestag.
