A man and his teenage son were killed and two other family members were injured when the house they were residing in collapsed late on Monday might. The incident occurred at Gudekal village in Yemmiganur mandal.
At the time of the incident, the family were asleep when the house collapsed due to the heavy rain. The deceased were identified as D Nagaraju (45) a daily wage agricultural worker and his son Lakshmi Narasimha (17).
Nagaraju’s mother Lakshmi and brother Raju suffered injuries and were shifted to the Yemmiganur Government Hospital for treatment. Yemmiganur Rural police registered a case and investigation is on.
