Man crushed under bus during repair

Kozhikode: A 24-year-old man was crushed under a bus after a mechanical jack slipped while he was doing an emergency brake repair near Sarovaram Biopark in Kozhikode on Friday. The victim was identified as Giri Prakash, a native of Alappuzha. Another person also sustained injuries in the incident and was admitted to a private hospital. According to police sources, the victim succumbed to severe chest injuries following the collapse of the heavy vehicle on him.
