An onion merchant was bludgeoned to death with a stone near a temple in the Kadugodi area of Bengaluru, following a personal dispute. The accused has been arrested within hours of the incident.

According to the complaint filed by Shaila, her husband Ramachandra had been engaged in the onion trade in Bengaluru for several years. During that time, he had developed an acquaintance with a woman named Manjula, and the two were reportedly in a relationship. Ramachandra was said to frequently visit her residence in Patalamma Layout, Kadugodi.
