The Kerala government has sanctioned ₹41.50 crore for the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) in connection with the implementation of the Priyadarshini free ride scheme for women and transgender people on the ordinary buses operated by the KSRTC.
The amount covered the period starting from June 15 to 30 in the opening two weeks of the scheme, which was launched across the State on June 15.
