The Human Rights Forum (HRF) has demanded the immediate withdrawal of the Draft Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the water aerodrome proposed at Prakasam Barrage on the Krishna River, alleging factual errors and safety concerns.
In a statement on Friday, HRF A.P. state general secretary Y. Rajesh and secretary G. Rohith called for the cancellation of the public hearing scheduled for May 21, 2026, saying that the current document is ‘unreliable and inadequate for decision-making’.
