APTRANSCO Joint Managing Director Keerthi Chekuri took charge as the new East Godavari District Collector here on Saturday (September 13).
The 2016 Indian Administrative Service officer and alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Madras) had earlier served as Joint Collector of the erstwhile East Godavari, headquartered in Kakinada City, during the COVID-19.
Ms. Chekuri’s predecessor and former East Godavari District Collector P. Prasanthi, is waiting for posting. The district officials welcomed Ms. Chekuri at the Collectorate at Bommuru.
