Congress Legislature Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Thursday (April 9, 2026) wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, asking him to implement the Supreme Court of India verdict in the TAIT-2022 teacher recruitment process, highlighting the alleged injustice faced by OBC candidates.

Mr. Wadettiwar demanded immediate implementation of the Supreme Court’s decision, saying, “Due to the wrong decision of the State government’s education department, about 8000 OBC and other candidates have been excluded from the recruitment process despite having merit.”
