India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad Centre issued a rain alert to parts of GHMC on February 25, 2026 afternoon

Some parts of Hyderabad turned gloomy on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) afternoon as clouds took over the sky. However, sun peeked out by the late afternoon.
Though India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad Centre issued an alert around 2.17 p.m. predicting light rain or thundershowers in parts of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) over the next couple of hours, rain was not recorded in the Corporation limits till the late afternoon ( 4 p.m.), according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather observations.
