HYDERABAD

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on residents of Sri Sairams Westend Apartments in Anand Nagar Colony, Banjara Hills, following a complaint of water being discharged onto the public road.

Local officials who inspected the premises found that water was released during overhead tank cleaning. Authorities stated that wasting drinking water and allowing it to flow onto roads violates regulations. The consumers were warned that repeated violations could result in disconnection of water supply. The Board urged residents to use water responsibly.
