The Governor instructed all Vice-Chancellors to prepare and submit a detailed report on the same. “This report should cover the current status of their respective universities, key achievements, challenges, shortcomings, and specific measures proposed for improvement,” she stated.

Addressing the Vice-Chancellors of various universities and officials from the Karnataka State Higher Education Council at Lok Bhavan, the Governor emphasised the need to strengthen the quality, transparency, accountability and overall performance of universities across the State.

“Emphasis must be placed on the effective implementation of the National Education Policy and the State Education Policy, strong coordination between industries and universities, as well as skill development, research, innovation and employability,” she said.
