For the first time, the Raichur district administration in Karnataka, in collaboration with the City Municipal Corporation and other departments, has launched a 30-day free coaching programme for aspirants to various competitive examinations. Deputy Commissioner Nitish K. appealed to students to make the best use of the opportunity.

Speaking about the initiative on November 5, the Deputy Commissioner said that the programme aims to support students aspiring for IAS, IPS, IRS, KAS, and other State and Central Government services, as well as FDA, SDA, Police, and Group-C examinations.

“Many students have the ambition to clear competitive exams but lack proper guidance. This programme has been organised to ensure that students from the Raichur region receive systematic coaching and motivation to reach higher administrative positions,” he said.

The eligibility test for this free coaching will be held on November 12, from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Government Girls’ Pre-University College, near District Rangamandira, Raichur. Only the top 100 candidates scoring the highest marks in this test will be selected for the training.

Registration is open until November 8. Interested candidates who have passed PUC, are pursuing a degree, or have completed graduation, from Raichur or any other part of Karnataka, can register using a QR code provided by the organisers.

The 30-day training will be conducted at the new District Central Library building, located behind District Rangamandira. The programme is completely free of cost, with no admission or training fees. Expert resource persons will teach subjects, including Economics, Geography, Environmental Studies, Science and Technology, Mental Ability, Indian Constitution, and History.

For more information regarding registration, eligibility test, or the training programme, students may contact the nodal officers: Tahsildar Suresh Verma (Mob: 8660832180), Amaresha Biradar (Mob: 9886651314), or District Minority Welfare Officer Praveen Kumar (Mob: 8951683988).

Details are also available at the District Library Office behind the District Rangamandira during working hours, the DC said.
