Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was elected on Wednesday (December 24, 2025) as president of Atal Smriti Nyas Society. The post was earlier held by Vijay Kumar Malhotra who passed away recently.
Ram Bahadur Rai, senior founding member of the society proposed the name of Mr. Naidu for the post in consultation with the other members, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to carry out the society’s activities.
