Former Madras HC judge appointed judicial member of T.N. Lokayukta

The Tamil Nadu government has appointed retired Madras High Court judge Justice R. Hemalatha as the judicial member of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta. She will hold office for a term of five years. The State government has also reconstituted the Tamil Nadu Fishermen Welfare Board with new chairperson and official and non-official members. It has appointed A. Joseph Stalin as the Board’s chairperson. It has named A. Thajudeen, N.J. Bose, P. Antony Stalin, A. Jose, V. Selvabarathi, R.V. Ganesh, A.P. Panneerselvam, M. Murugan, X. Lenin, G. Manoharan, M. Jebamalai Fernand, Jesuraja and P.S. Jesuraj alias Raja as members. The tenure of the new reconstituted Board would be two years.
