A fire broke out at Aditya Enclave in Maitrivanam, Ameerpet of Hyderabad on Friday (February 20, 2026) morning, triggering panic in the busy educational and commercial area. No casualties or injuries were reported.

According to officials from the Fire Control room, a distress call was received at 10.59 a.m., following which three fire tenders were dispatched to the spot.

Hyderabad District Fire Officer-II, Ajmeera Sreedas, said the blaze originated on the ground floor of the G+5 building. The floor houses an electrical shop, where the fire is suspected to have started.

The Fire department personnel managed to bring the flames under control swiftly, preventing them from spreading to other floors of the building. A case was registered and further investigation is under way to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
