BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has alleged that the Congress party was distributing money in the Jubilee Hills constituency “out of fear of defeat”.

Addressing a roadshow at Yousufguda, KTR accused the Congress of “openly spreading corruption money” and appealed to people “not to fall prey to such inducements” but to “teach the Congress a fitting lesson.”

“Chief Minister, afraid of losing, is trying to buy votes,” he said, adding that the Jubilee Hills byelection would mark the beginning of the downfall of the Congress government. “The shock given by the people of Jubilee Hills will decide whether Revanth Reddy remains in power for three years or steps down in three months,” he remarked.

He also claimed that even the Congress high command in Delhi was sharpening its knives after watching his arrogant style of functioning. KTR said that during the 10-year BRS rule, Telangana witnessed unprecedented progress while Congress came to power by selling lies in the form of six guarantees.

Accusing the CM of being arrogant, he said that when people ask about pension hikes or pending promises, the CM responds with threats, and college managements were being harassed over fee reimbursement dues. He appealed to the people to compare the 10 years of KCR’s rule with the two years of Congress governance and vote accordingly. “Jubilee Hills voters should not be deceived by him again,” he warned.

He also alleged that Mr. Revanth Reddy was threatening that welfare schemes will be stopped if people don’t vote for Congress. Who gave him the right to stop welfare schemes? If people vote for BRS, we will ensure the Congress continues implementing those schemes under public pressure.”

He also questioned AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi’s support to the Congress and reminded how Mr. Owaisi once called Revanth an RSS man.
