An IndiGo flight from Singapore was reportedly hit by a bird during landing at the Vijayawada International Airport at Gannavaram on Saturday morning. The flight was scheduled to land at 7.35 a.m.
According to an official at the airport, the officials checked the aircraft and no damage was reported. The checking delayed the next flight by more than an hour.
The Singapore-bound flight, which usually takes off at 9.35 a.m., was allowed to start its journey at around 10.45 a.m., the official said.
