Condemning the BJP-led Central government, DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin on Thursday (April 16, 2026) burnt a copy of the Delimitation Bill in Madurai.

He said the Delimitation exercise was against Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu’s rights, and everyone should oppose it. This was a move to reduce Tamil Nadu’s representation in the Parliament, he said and urged the people to oppose the Delimitation Bill and teach the fascist forces and their slaves a lesson in the Assembly elections.
