Engineering student critical after self-immolation on Osmania University campus

A 19-year-old engineering student is undergoing treatment after he allegedly set himself on fire on the Osmania University campus on Monday (April 27) morning.

The student, identified as Vinesh, a first-year mining engineering student, and a native of Govindapur village in Mahabubabad district, reportedly poured petrol on himself and set himself ablaze near the Renuka Yellamma temple on the campus at around 9.30 a.m.
