Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) has announced a two-day special drive for clearing green waste in its purview. Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, during a tele conference on Monday, issued instructions for the drive in all the circles. One officer in-charge has been appointed by Additional Commissioner, Sanitation, C.N.Raghu Prasad, for monitoring the drive in two circles each. Director (Urban Biodiversity), N. Sunanda has been directed to work in coordination with the power distribution company officials who are taking up tree pruning. The commisisoner has instructed officials to conduct a drive every Monday to remove green waste, a statement informed.
