The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has instructed principals of engineering colleges to not collect any fee from students admitted under the horizontal reservation category (7.5% reservation for students who studied in government schools from Class VI to Class XII).
A press release stated that DoTE has also instructed college principals to not admit students without following due procedure. Grievances, if any, may be addressed to tndote@tndote.com.
