Domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) customers experienced difficulties for the second day consecutively, on Thursday, in placing orders successfully for the refills.
Panic booking by the households is the main reason, sources in the oil industry attributed, adding that customers of all three public sector oil companies, IOC, BPCL and HPCL, encountered challenges. The spike in bookings was far higher than the capacity the system can handle resulting in frayed tempers, disappointment and shock for the households.
